RS 485 REMOTE MONITORING FOR STATCON ENERGIAA HYBRID SOLAR INVERTERS
Statcon Energiaa’s RS 485 remote monitoring software is an offline monitoring tool for its HBD | ECO HBD | ESS range of solar products. It is a plug and play tool utilizing your laptop or PC to display all the system parameters of your solar power plant. You have to simply connect your system with the software and communication cable to easily access maximum possible data from your system.
HOW TO INSTALL
Users have to install two more software along with this Remote Monitoring software for full access. These three software are as follows.
- Remote Monitor
- SAP Crystal Report_32bit/64bit_ver-13_0_18.
When a user 1st time installs the software he/she has to make a “new user id and password” as shown in image.
After creating a user id password, a new form will open. The User will now fill in the System Information as shown in image.
After installing all the above, the users can access most of the features in this version which is a non-Premium version. For the full version, user can purchase the licence for premium version by writing to firstname.lastname@example.org . To facilitate this, user has to send a code to above given email ID. That CODE is generated in the software and appears on the top of the software dashboard window as shown in the image 3 below.
HOW TO USE
Five tabs are displayed on the left hand side of your software dashboard as follows:
The user can access data associated to the various parameters of the solar power plant as shown in the dashboard screenshots below.
Dashboard page is divided into 10 parts which are as follows.
- Plant Details
In this part user can access all information about the site; like address, capacity, type, serial number, installation date, and total energy (PV) Generated.
- Weather Monitoring
In this part user can see all the information about weather conditions like wind speed, direction, irradiation, PV cell temperature, Ambient temperature.
- My Machine
In this part User can access data related to the Machine (Inverter), Grid, PV, Battery and Load.
- Command Status
This section provides the Information about commands which are applied by the User to Inverter and also gives the indication for DG set.
- Total Savings
In this section User can see all type of savings in the form of electricity saved (In KWH), Money saved (in rupees), Tree saved and CO2 saved.
This Section provides the values of PV Power and Solar generation today from Channel 1.
This Section provides the Battery Voltage and status like charging, discharging.
This section provides information about Grid Power, Today’s Consumption and Today’s Export.
This Section Provides Total Load Power and Today Load Consumption.
This section Provides, DG power and Today’s Consumption.
This Page contains share some common features with the DASHBOARD page which are Plant Details, Weather Monitoring and My Machine as shown in Image. And rest of the sections are explained below.
- Indication / Fault Status
Provides information about the faults or indications of inverter.
- Inverter Status
Provides important data about the Inverter like Voltage, Current and Frequency.
- Grid/DG status
Provides Information about Grid/DG as Voltage, Power, Frequency and the PF.
- PV Status
This section provides information from three PV channels; Voltage, current and power.
- Battery Status
In this section battery information is available like Voltage, Status and current.
This Page also contains few common sections which are Plant Details, Weather Monitoring and Indication/Fault Status. As shown in Image.
And the rest are explained below below.
- System Parameters
Provides the maximum possible information from the system like Data of Inverter, Grid, PV, Load etc.
- External Commands
Premium Users can access this section, which can be used to control your HBD series system to Start/Stop the charging, disconnect grid, and control Export/Import etc.
This page provides information in the form of Graphs. These graphs are useful for easily predicting and analysing the multitudes of data at the user’s hands. The user can generate these Graphs by selecting the dates for which the data is required. Three graphs are available here.
- Power Generation/Consumption> shows power of PV, Grid, DG, and Load (in KW).
- PV Generation> it depicts only PV power.
- Energy Generation/Consumption> it provides information about units of Energy for PV, Grid, DG, and Load (in KWH).
The user can also save the Images for graphs as shown in image.
User can generate system report also for this by simply clicking on “Report” tab to generate report in Pdf.
Format > the user can select other formats like word, excel and can also print the report. As shown in image.
